Stephen Richards, M.D

A central Ohio native, Dr. Richards received his medical degree from The Ohio State University in 1979, where he also completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Urogynecologic Society. In addition, he was the first gynecologist surgeon in Columbus to be accredited by the Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy  in both laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. He was the first to perform laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy and laparoscopic bladder suspensions in Columbus. He has more than 20 articles published in medical journals. Practicing in central Ohio for 25 years, Dr. Richards is a pioneer in minimally invasive gynecologic treatment including those for abnormal bleeding, sterilization, urine loss and pelvic floor disorders. He is the first in Columbus to perform office-based urethral sling procedures for urine loss.

 

Steven P. Balaloski, M.D.

Also a central Ohio native, Dr. Balaloski received his medical degree in 1993 fro The Ohio State University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Urogynecologic Society.  In addition, he is accredited by the Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy. Dr. Balaloski has been practicing in central Ohio for over 10 years and has pioneered office-based gynecologic surgery in central Ohio.



 

Elezabeth Young, M.D.

A native of central Ohio, Dr. Young received her medical degree from The Ohio State University in 2003. She completed her Obstetric and Gynecologic residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI in 2007. Dr. Young is an associate member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Young returned to Columbus in 2007 and is a welcome addition to WomanKind Health & Wellness Center.
